Why IEC62471/60825 certification for optical eye safety?
Any LED/LASER or lamp product to be distributed in Canada, Europe, Asia or China requires compliance with the IEC62471/60825 standard. It also ensures that your customers will remain safe while using your devices.

How is IEC62471/60825 certification done?
Products are required to have emissions below different wavelength dependent limits. These emissions must be measured using expensive equipment in complex configurations.

Risks must be assessed from UV to IR wavelengths with different field of views, depending on the risk category.

SafeLED allows to do all of this is a convenient and easy way. Get in contact to try our certification easing software.

SafeLED

Designed to quickly calculate risks and limits of IEC62471's international standard in Photobiological safety of lamps and lamp systems and now IEC60825 as well.
