Regular Camera Systems

Correcting your camera system can improve your application and give you accurate image information about the world around it.

ReMapping your cameras can allow you to reduce the number of optical elements and thus reducing complexity and form factor.

You can remove physical limitations of your system. By designing with ReMap, it is possible to design without much chromatic and distortion considerations and still achieve great performance by applying our corrections.

A great application would be metalenses or reducing cost of optical systems. Compensate for lower alignment tolerances, manufacturing tolerances, number of optical elements with a single tool.

Regular cameras can be integrated to telescopes, microscopes and other imaging systems with great results and those assembled systems can also be calibrated.

Zooming and Focusing Display and Camera Systems

Our software can correct cameras and varifocal display systems at multiple zoom levels and focal positions. This is on top of geometric and chromatic distortions.

ReMap helps in solving decentering that happens with mechanical lens motion or electro-optical properties.

With ReMap calibrations, you can know accurately the position of any pixel within an image along a direction vector. This allows to feed calibrated image information to your application data pipeline.

Some fields such as machine-vision, projectile detection, targeting, alignment and more, greatly benefit from accurate information.

Prototype Systems

Technology such as waveguides, metalenses, mirrors, long throw, small form factors, wide-angle, polarization or electro-optical devices all require high accuracy, costs and tiny manufacturing tolerances to perform using conventional methods of imaging.

In ReMap's case, prototypes with inherent imperfections can simply be corrected using image processing.

Examples of the imperfections could be geometric distortions, chromatic aberrations, decentering and are causes by many factors.

These factors may include dispersion due to materials quality, stress, composition, manufacturing tolerances, device to device variances, lack of compensation.

In the conventional case, theses factors could kill your product's performance, but with ReMap, you can correct most of them!
